Rajyogini BK Dadi Janki, the Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Inaugurated the 37th National Conference on Mind-Body Medicine on the theme “Spiritual Wisdom for Changing Times” and said “Today mental diseases are on the rise. If mind is healthy, body will automatically remain disease free. To keep the mind vital and positive, practice of Rajyoga meditation should be taken up.”
This All India Medical Conference was organized by the Medical Wing of Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation and Brahma Kumaris at Shantivan campus of Brahma Kumaris Head Quarters here. It saw enthusiastic participation of more than 4000 doctors from all over India and Nepal.
Prof. Dr. Raj Kumar, the Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Medical Science University, Etawah said that earlier people used to follow natural lifestyles, hence diseases were few. But the fast and unnatural lifestyles of today give rise to many rare diseases. Assuring mental health with Rajyoga will surely help in combating this scenario.
Rajyogi BK Nirwair, Secretary General of Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu highlighted the importance of physicians practicing Rajyoga. Only a healthy doctor can give health to his patients.
