Launching Ceremony of ‘My Madhya Pradesh, Addiction Free Madhya Pradesh’

The country will improve with social reforms, and India will be called vishwa guru by becoming addiction-free. These are the expressions of His Excellency Shri Mangubhai Patel, Governor of Madhya Pradesh.

To de-addict someone is a great act of charity. That person will bless you throughout his life. Many families are being ruined by addiction. If the head of the household dies untimely due to addiction, then the whole family collapses. That’s why I thank all of you very much because you have taken a huge task of social reform upon yourself.

To manifest the dream of addiction-free M.P. ,it can not only be done by the government or by the Brahma Kumaris organisation, but collective efforts of all are necessary to make Madhya Pradesh addiction free. He was speaking at the launching ceremony of ‘My Madhya Pradesh, Addiction Free Madhya Pradesh’ campaign organised at Anubhuti Auditorium of Brahmakumaris Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Neelbad, Bhopal.

He further added that youngsters follow the footsteps of elders and become addicted. Addictions hamper the intellectual development of children. Today, people have material comforts but neither happiness nor peace. Spiritual happiness and peace come, when we add values to life. The Brahmakumaris organisation is doing the work of creating such sanskars. So, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you and wish you success.
